Consultancy
Softbits’ expert engineers each have more than 25 years’ experience in process simulation with HYSYS, Flarenet and other applications. We offer clients the benefit of this vast experience through our Process Simulation, Simulation Training and Engineering Software Development consultancy services, designed to help engineers understand how process simulation can be employed to best effect.
Training
Over the years, we have found that users often do not make the most of their process simulation software. Through our own training courses or in conjunction with Aspentech, we can show engineers how to use HYSYS and Flarenet process simulation software effectively and how to integrate it with other programs; we also run teach-ins on real-world simulation problems.
Flaresim
Flaresim models flare thermal radiation and noise footprints, and also predicts the temperature of surfaces exposed to the flare. The application can analyse complex installations with multiple flare tips on any number of flare stacks. It also allows you to work from the opposite perspective, sizing stack or boom length to meet specific radiation, noise or surface-temperature limits at defined positions.
